Hello, blogland

So, after the hours spent oggling over other beautiful and creative blogs over the past couple of months I have decided to take the plunge and start my own. I was hesitant because it seemed like such a commitment, and honestly I wasn't sure I was up for it. I also felt that my own would only be a sad attempt to create something as splendid as some of my favorites. But today I feel ambitious and excited to share some of the projects I have been working on in the last few months. I am eager to get started!

I made these headbands for my cute nieces [modeling below].

I have made lots of these handy hairpins.

I made this cuddly giraffe when my cousin adopted a [cute] baby from Korea.

This was a snow day crafty that I hope will [soon] find a home in our new old house [when we finish it].

This is a crafty I made using the fabulous tutorial from Skip to my Lou. 

I have many more crafties and paintings and pretties in my head that I plan to make. I also have a [major] house renovation underway...maybe I will post before and after photos when we are finished.
