Opportunity knocks...

I have been on a roll lately, and it is paying off. I have made a handful of sales this week, and that is pretty good since it has only been a week since I got the whim to do this. I am excited and thankful for these opportunities.

These are the assorted colors I have made in the elastic rosette headbands.

These are the earrings I was hesitant about at first. Now they are my favorites!

Then that made me think of these:

and these:

I also have made a few of these:

I am pretty excited about all these, and the reactions I am getting. I hope I am fortunate enough to be able to continue!

Newborn Headbands

Now I am addicted, and I cannot stop creating these flowers. I have had several requests to sell so today is my first day of "mass" production. I will be selling the larger headbands, necklaces, and these!

I also will be adding earrings, rings, and who knows what!
I am very excited about this endeavor, and I even have a couple of places both here and my hometown that I will be displaying these things to sell. Yay!

A very productive Friday!

I woke up with my determined face on this morning. I cleaned the house, made a necklace in a new color combo that I love, and made a new dress for a poor, plastic flower pot all before Nicholas got home from work.

Elastic rosette headband

Okay, so I got started and couldn't stop! I didn't have enough chain [since I usually don't make jewelry], so I made this elastic headband. Too bad I can't keep these elastic headbands on my head!

I guess I made someone a cute gift!

Fabric flower necklace

I have seen several similar things like this selling online for hefty prices. I finally gave it a shot, and it was easy and pretty quick! I was very pleased with the way it turned out for a trial run!

Valentine Cupcake

I have been wanting to make cupcakes forever now, but not just any cupcakes..I wanted to decorate and have cute cupcakes. Yesterday, my sweet husband bought me the piping tips and bags I wanted, so today I got busy. It took me far longer than it should have, and I think I ate the equivalent of 3 cupcakes in batter alone. But I was pleased with the way they turned out for my first attempt, especially the chocolate hearts.

YUM!

I can't wait to experiment some more!

2011 Calendar

Quite a while back I came across this cute calendar at Ginger and George and I fell in love with it. I finally got the time to get one put together, and I love how it turned out. I used some of her ideas as well as a few of my own. Can't wait to find it a home in my home!

[note: I made it after January was over, and accidentally used the January page for a grocery list. Oops]

My apologies for the terrible photos.
